Controversy is a part of Top Gear, and we have to say a fairly amusing part. Mind you, most of the time the controversy is something small blown way out of proportion by the tabloids. In their latest ‘mischief’, Top Gear presenters have reportedly been very… insensitive, for lack of a better word.
OK, we realize we need to narrow that down a bit. Filming for the new series of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson and James May had to crash into each other in two Peugeots; May in a 407, and Clarki in a 307 CC. Nothing wrong with that.
The unfortunate bit was the location they chose for the crash. The site in Oxfordshire where Jezza and James ran into each other is the same exact spot where four years ago a young woman crashed her Peugeot, a 106, and died. The choice of the site may well have been just a coincident, but, you know, it’s highly unlikely!
The point we gather from all this is that Top Gear is finally filming for a new series, which means they will soon be back.
