German tuner Mcchip-DKR is an absolute authority when it comes to chip tuning and electronic modifications. They have a lot of customers which means they have developed tailored ECU programs for a wide variety of cars. The latest to be added to the list is Aston Martin Vanquish.

Seeing as the 6.0 liter V12 that powers the Aston Martin Vanquish is the same that’s been around for years in other Aston models, Mcchip engineers were fairy familiar with it. Still, in the Vanquish this engine comes with 573 hp and 620 Nm of torque, which means it is already tuned to the max in the factory.

Extracting more power from this motor just through electronics is tall order, but Mcchip has pulled it off. Thanks to a software optimization program that takes only minutes to be uploaded onto the car’s brain, the DKR’s Vanquish gets a boost to 596 hp and 645 Nm. Let’s call that 600 horsepower.

Mcchip-DKR Stage 1 ECU program for Aston Martin Vanquish costs 3,199 Euros. There are more powerful programs in the works which will push the limit even further and, of course, cost a lot more. If you like what Mcchip has done to this Aston, make sure you also check out their mighty BMW M4.
