The entire job description of the famous BMW M5 Nurburgring Taxi is to go up and down the legendary circuit all day long, ferrying tourists and track officials around the place. So naturally, it is very accident-prone. Now for the second time since it was delivered last year, the F10 M5 ‘Ring Taxi crashes on the job.
As you can see in the video of the accident captured by an incredibly well-positioned camera, the BMW M5 Nurburgring Taxi crash is due to the loss of traction around Brünnchenn corner, probably because of excessive entry speed.
Luckily this time the damage suffered by the BMW M5 Nurburgring Taxi is fairly light. The previous crash pretty much totaled the car. Still, track officials must be thinking about updating the insurance of the car. What if it crashes with four tourists inside the car and something happens to one of them? That could have been disastrous, as the Nurburgring is in a bad financial state as it is.
