The hot hatch segment these days is chockfull of overpowered little machines that come out of the factory with more oomph than most sports cars. But that is apparently not enough, as more and more tuners come up with insane power kits for these hatchbacks.

We recently looked at a 310-hp ABT Audi S1 and marveled at its performance. But that car looks like a bicycle compared to what GAD Motors has done to the Mercedes A45 AMG. They’ve gone all-in with this car, boosting its power output to 430 horsepower.

Now, the standard A45 is a pretty beasty thing with 360 horsepower, so you can imagine what it’s going to be like with 430. That is more power than what you get from a Porsche 911 Carrera! And it’s a hatchback for crying out loud.

GAD Motors Mercedes A45 AMG also gets 550 Nm of torque which is the main reason it can accelerate form 0 to 100 km/h in just over 4 seconds. That is half a second quicker than the standard, and on the par with some of the world’s finest sports cars.

Apparently, the tuner was quite happy with the rest of the A45, so they haven’t really put much effort in other areas. Apart from the engine, GAD Motors Mercedes A45 AMG only gets a set of 19-inch lightweight OZ wheels and a green wrap.
