Canadian tuner SR Auto Group has finished what is possibly their most unique project ever. It’s a BMW M3 E93 – the previous generation convertible model – fitted with a bespoke body kit from Liberty Walk and a set of one of a kind PUR Wheels.
This is the first widebody Liberty Walk BMW M3 in Vancouver, and probably the only convertible version in the world. If you don’t like LB’s wide body treatments, then this car will look stupid to you. But the fans of excessively buffed up fenders will find it an absolute delight. This M3 is as wide as a Range Rover now.
In spite of the huge fenders, the wheels SR Auto has chosen for this Liberty Walk BMW M3 barely fit within the confinements of the body. They are PUR LX12 19-inch models, 10.5 inch wide at the front and a staggering 12-inch wide at the back. They come with a custom finish consisting of Matte Black Diamond for the face and Gloss Candy Red for the lips, complemented with red Dinan Calipers.
Short of fitting it with machine guns, SR Auto could not have made this car more eye-catching and unique. Looking at it we can’t help but think how awesome the E90 series M3 still looks, and how soon it was replaced by the new M3/M4. There is still a lot of life left in this generation of the car.
