Porsche is very proud of what they have achieved with the new Panamera S E-Hybrid and rightly so. Here’s a huge four-door, four-seater car with all sort of luxury features you can think of, which has the performance of a sports car and the fuel economy of a small hatchback. What’s not to like?

Well, there is actually something nobody likes about the Panamera, and that’s the way it looks. It is by no means a beautiful car, but that doesn’t mean it is not classy and elegant and impressive. It sure is. To put this in perspective, Porsche took a Panamera S E-Hybrid to St. Petersburg for a special photoshoot. Looking at these photos you can’t help but admire the car’s presence.

The 2014 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid has an output of 416 hp, 95 hp (70 kW) of which coming from an electric motor supplied by a battery pack than can be charged via any normal outlet. The performance of this system is simply astounding, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 5.5 seconds, top speed of 270 km/h, and NEDC fuel consumption of to 3.1 l/100 km.
