For years RUF has been creating some of the world’s finest Porsche-based cars without making too much fuss about it. Granted, they are more about the technicalities than styling, and it is kinda hard to impress people with fancy camshafts and stuff. But RUF’s unique styling has its own charms, as seen in these pictures of their Cayman 3800S.

Spotted in Thailand, this red RUF Porsche Cayman looks magnificent. The coolest thing is that it is not trying hard for attention as is usually the case with tuned cars. Of course, Porsche Cayman is a very handsome car to begin with, but still, RUF’s subtle styling tweaks such as the carbon front splitter and rear bumper with integrated diffuser and tailpipes are among the best we’ve ever seen.

RUF Porsche Cayman also benefits from the tuner’s 3800S power kit for the standard 3.8 liter flat 6 engine which boosts the output to 420 hp with 450 Nm (332 lb ft) of torque. Equipped with the 7-speed PDK, that engine can take the Cayman from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 300 km/h.
