It’s been a long time since we last heard about flamboyant German tuner IMSA. But now they are back with and by the looks of things they have traded a great deal of that ostentation for horsepower lust. This Mercedes S63 AMG they have just done packs a massive 720 horsepower punch.

In order to get that kind of power from the luxury saloon IMSA has fitted the 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 engine in it with a bespoke high-flow outlet, custom downpipes, sport catalysts with x-Cross mid-muffler, bigger intercoolers, sport air filters, and remapped ECU.

The result is 720 horsepower and a ginormous torque of 1080 Nm. The job of handling that power is given to the standard drivetrain of Mercedes S63 AMG, but to give it a hand in this daunting task, the tuner has equipped it with 9×21”inch forged lightweight wheels wrapped with 255 tires up front and 295 wide out back.

IMSA has also come up with a surprisingly subtle styling kit for the Mercedes S63 AMG consisting of front spoiler lip, wider air intakes, side skirts, and rear diffuser. It gives the car a really classy look.
