BMW didn’t announce anything, but it seems they’ve secretly made a Lime Rock edition of the new M4 exclusively for the American market. The first Lime Rock Bimmer was one of the last special editions of the E92 M3 and it was an homage to the race track in America from which the car got its name.

The BMW M4 Lime Rock seems to follow the same track as the M3 and comes with the same sort of features, which is to say a bucket of orange paint and a hefty price tag.

In fairness though, there is more to BMW M4 Lime Rock edition than just, well, a bucket of orange paint. It also comes with a carbon fiber aero pack consisting of front and rear spoilers and mirror caps, all of them left exposed to complement the exterior color and also the black roof and wheels.

There isn’t any performance upgrade applied to the M4 Lime Rock, but even so, the Dallas-based dealer who’s put the car up for sale is asking for $90,000, which is a full 25 grand more than a standard M4. Worth it?
