I know it’s a bit of a leap, but one could argue a car like the BMW 530d Touring (wagon) is the best car in the world. Think about it. It’s good-looking, fuel-efficient, sufficiently fast, very spacious, extremely versatile, and pretty good fun to drive as well. It is a car for every opportunity.

The fact that it’s a diesel, however, may put some people off. But that’s not the end of the world, as there are aftermarket treatments that enhance the performance and soundtrack of the diesel engine, thus eliminating the two main flaws of this powertrain.

Here’s an example, the MM-Performance BMW 530d Toruing xDrive all-wheel-drive. The Polish tuner has equipped this sexy wagon with a Hartge Power Box which comes with beefed-up software for the ECU, and a full set of Eisenmann sport exhaust system.

They had to modify the rear bumper and install new decorative parts to make the four tailpipes of the Eisenmann system fit, but it was worth it. MM-Performance BMW 530d gains an extra 55 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque thanks to these mods, for a total output of 285 horsepower and 6005 Nm of torque.
