Tuned supercars are such rare sights that it almost feels like they only exist in the magazines and websites. That is probably they look so striking when you seem them in the flesh. This Regula Tuning Audi R8 was recently spotted in Dusseldorf, Germany, and it looks outworldly parked among ordinary cars!

Revealed months ago as a top of the line styling package for the German super car, Regula Tuning Audi R8 comes with a set of aero parts with an utterly unique design. The front bumper features huge air intakes and an aggressive grille; the side skirts have extra vents in them; and as for the rear bumper, it is probably what the rear bumper looks like on an alien spaceship.

Meanwhile red accents are used all over the car to complement the super cool gunmetal grey finish of the body and the wheels, as well as the red soft top, since this R8 is a Spyder version.

Regula Tuning Audi R8 Spyder in these pictures is a V10 version boasting 552 horsepower. Combined with a quattro four-wheel-drive system and a dual-clutch transmission, that engine enables the R8 to sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 3.5 seconds and reach 314 km/h (195.11 mph) flat out.
