You may remember this cobalt-colored Gemballa Mirage GT from the time it tore through the streets of Beverly Hills. This car owned by a fun-loving fella who doesn’t miss an opportunity to get out and drive his prized possession. Recently the car was spotted at the start of the Fuel Run rally.

The venue provided ample opportunity for Brian Zuk to capture some up close and personal footage of this Gemballa Mirage GT. It includes beauty shots of the car as well as samples of its absolutely brutal soundtrack:

Gemballa Mirage GT is based on the Porsche Carrera GT super car, featuring a bespoke styling kit, custom interior and upgraded powertrain. This project was one of the few successful aftermarket takes on the Carrera GT and is these days among the most coveted versions of the German super car. It is quite rare to see one out in the wild though, as they only made 25 of them.
