Unlike the current generation Mercedes SL from which most tuner try to steer clear, the previous-gen R230 series was an absolute favorite among car customizers. There are countless styling kits available for this car, most of them wide body. This is the latest offering by Polish tuner Suhorovsky Design.

Suhorovsky Design Mercedes SL styling package has a familiar look about it. But that’s not the tuner’s fault. As mentioned, there so many SL kits out there that some of them are bound to look similar. Still, it has a nice and well-rounded design and the wide body effect is executed flawlessly.

Starting from the front, you notice the sport bumper with large intakes covered with honeycomb grille and a chin spoiler garnished with LED lights. The bumper melts into new front wings which come with flared fenders and side vents in true Black series fashion. A pair of chunky side skirts connects the wings to the rear widenings, which in turn terminate in a revised bumper featuring a prominent diffuser.

Suhorovsky Design Mercedes SL also comes with a trunk spoiler which, if we’re honest, is not very SL-like. The car would look a lot cooler without it.
