For that past couple of months Vilner has been working on what is possibly the biggest project of their career. It’s the Star Wars-inspired BMW Stormtrooper based on the 6-Series Bullshark, one of their previous projects. This car is basically a Stormtrooper on four wheels.
The front-end of BMW Stormtrooper is modeled on the helmet of the fictional character and features new headlights borrowed from Infiniti, revised kidney grilles, and an all-new bumper. The bonnet is also new, and so are the wings, flared arches, side skirts, and side vents.
At the back BMW Stormtrooper looks a lot more normal, even though the tail lights are slightly different, the boot spoiler is more pronounced, and the bumper now features a massive diffuser and large tailpipes.
Vilner is first and foremost an interior specialist, so as you’d expect, the cockpit of BMW Stormtrooper is a work of art. They have lavished tons of antique nappa leather and brown Alcantara on the cabin and covered every surface with the precious material. The body meanwhile gets a pearl white paint job, complemented with black 10-inch wheels with white lips.
Vilner’s Stormtrooper is actually an M6, which means it has a 500 horsepower V10 engine.
