As we’ve always maintained, the best kind of tuning is sometimes the simplest kind. This BMW M6, fitted by Wheels Performance with a set of classy ADV1 wheels, backs us up in this argument. Just look at it.
Granted, BMW M6 is a very handsome car and it has looks to die for even without the wheel treatment. But when you are dealing with exotic cars like the M6, especially in America, stock just won’t cut it. And if you compare this to a fully kitted-out M6 by, say, Lumma or Hamann, you’ll see the simple car looks a lot more elegant and desirable. Well, unless you are 8-years old, in which case the heavily tuned car is just awesome!
Wheels Performance BMW M6 gets a set of ADV5.0 M.V2 Competition Spec rims in this program, measuring 21×9.5 inch front and 21×12 inch rear, boasting a Titanium finish. The car also appears to be fitted with a few very subtle aero parts including a front spoiler and a rear diffuser, both in carbon fiber. The blacked-out grille and lightly tinted windows also help with the whole dark theme this M6 seems to be rocking.
The M6’s source of power is a sweet 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 with 560 horsepower in standard and close to 600 horsepower in Competition Pack guise. It is a heavy car though, the M6, so if it’s outright performance you are after, you better look elsewhere… maybe a Porsche showroom.
