German tuner AC Schnitzer has already given a sneak preview of their ACS4 kit tailored for the Gran Coupe version of the BMW 4 Series. Now they have released the full details of this program along with brand spanking new photos and a video of the car’s soundtrack.
Shown here in a lovely blue color, AC Schnitzer BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe features a styling kit which it shares with the Coupe and Convertible variants, consisting mainly of front spoiler and rear diffusor, carbon mirror covers, chromed front grille, and rear skirt.
The rear diffuser also accommodates the four tailpipes of the 4er’s special exhaust system which sounds pretty sonorous:
In terms of performance, AC Schnitzer BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe can currently be order with high-performance intercoolers (depending on the engine) and ECU remap. With this treatment BMW 428i develops 294 hp, the 435i 360 hp, and 420i a healthy 245 hp. As for the diesels, BMW 420d now delivers 218 hp while the 430d and 435d get 309 and 360 hp respectively.
The extra oomph is combined in the AC’s program with sport suspension and a wide vareity of lightweight alloy wheels. What’s more, the tuner offers a full range of interior accessories for the 4 Series, including trim pieces, floor mats, sport pedals and sport gear shifter.
