As one of the world’s most renowned BMW tuners, AC Schnitzer has to come up with upgrade packages for every new model the Bavarian company releases. So please welcome the AC Schnitzer BMW X4, the tuner’s take on the latest Sport Activity Vehicle, set for debut at Auto Zurich 2014.
Drawing inspiration from their extensive collection of parts and accessories for the BMW X6, AC has done a good hob of putting together a thorough tuning kit for the X4. You get visual mods, performance boost, suspension upgrades, interior accessories, and as always, a wide range of wheels.
AC Schnitzer BMW X4 benefits from an exclusive power box and sport exhaust system which comes with stainless steel silencer and twin silencer with two “Racing“ tailpipes. Together they boost the output of the X4 28i to 294 hp, the X4 35i to 360 hp, and the X4 20i to 245 hp. Diesel models get 220 hp for the 20d, 309 hp for the 30d and 360 hp for the 35d.
In terms of aerodynamics, AC Schnitzer BMW X4 comes with tailored front and rear spoiler and diffuser, carbon mirror covers and rear skirt. The looks are further improved with 30mm lower suspension and a range of 18 to 22 inch forged alloys in BiColor, black, silver or anthracite.
The main highlights of the interior include gear knob with digital gear display, illuminated leather gear knob and “Black Line” aluminium gear knob as well as velour floor mats.
