The production-intent Audi Prologue concept is what most of the firm’s future models are going to look like – to some extent at least. But as for the car itself, it will almost certainly be launched in a few years time as the Audi A9. These renderings show what the finished product may look like.

Audi Prologue, as we saw with the concept version, has a very strong resemblance to the Mercedes S-Class Coupe. It’s like Audi unashamedly copied that car and is actually proud of it! So there is no reason why the A9 should look any different. Just replaces some of those fancy details of the concept version with ordinary features, and there’s your lot.

Audi Prologue or A9 will invariably affect the look of the future Audi models, so you can expect to see more of that sinister grin and those tiny little headlights in the years to come. But more important than the looks, it will introduce new technologies to the production models, including lightweight aluminum construction, Matrix laser headlights, and highly advanced infotainment systems for the interior.
