After doing a terrific job with the Mercedes E-Coupe, the guys from Carlex Design have now come up with a lighter but equally impressive treatment for the previous-generation Mercedes SL. This time they went for a two-tone white and grey, garnished with unique patterns and contrast stitching.

Carlex Design Mercedes SL gets white nappa leather together with grey full grain leather complementing the classic design of the car’s interior. You find the exotic materials on virtually every surface, from the steering wheel, to the consoles, door panels, dashboard, and of course, the seats.

The seats feature a unique upholstery design with grey bottom and back rests and white bolsters, accented with contrast stitching and various contrasting inserts. The same pattern is used for the center console as well, while the main trim pieces, usually aluminum or carbon fiber, are also finished in white.

Carlex Design Mercedes SL interior treatment is a very welcome upgrade for this version of the sports roadster. They are still immensely popular, but you can’t find one brand-new. But now thanks to programs like this it doesn’t really matter because you can make your interior look and feel brand-new.
