Wide body treatments are not just for the high-end exotics. They work just as well on ordinary, run of the mill family hatchbacks, especially if they are kind of hot. This Seat Leon Cupra by JE Design is a case in point, and a good one at that.
The wide boy kit JE Design has come up with for the Seat Leon Cupra is a very thorough job, consisting of a three-piece front bumper featuring new intakes, spoiler, and grilles, custom wide fenders, side skirts, rear bumper and diffuser, and extra tailpipes.
The styling kit alone costs over 6,000 Euros, but it’s just the start of what is a complete tuning package for the Cupra. JE Design takes no account of the fact that the Leon Cupra comes out of the factory already tuned by the manufacturer, and proceeds with an engine treatment that boosts the output of the car’s 2.0 liter four-pot to 350 PS and 440 Nm.
That increase in power result in a reduction in the 0-100 km/h time, to 5.4 second. It also makes your bank account 2,299 Euros lighter. But the spending does not end there. The tuner offers a set of 19” sports wheels with high-performance tires for 2,052 Euros; KW suspension kit for 2,299 Euros; and sport exhaust system for 2,380 Euros.
