These days simply launching a new model and hoping for the best doesn’t cut it anymore. You need to make sure you stay ahead of the curve, and car makers do it with special editions and custom models. BMW Individual has just announced the launch exclusive versions of the 2015 X5M and X6M for this very reason.
As is usually the case with such models, BMW Individual X5M and X6M come with a host of visual upgrades over the standard models. The idea is to set these models visibly apart from the run of the mill version, so people would notice you are driving a high-end, more expensive variant of an already costly car. If they get it right, car makers can then pretty much name their own price and customers will pay it.
In the case of BMW Individual X5M and X6M the difference comes in form of special paint jobs, including Pyrite Brown metallic exterior with Xirallic pigments for the X5M and Azurite Black metallic with hues of Blue built into it for the X6M. Inside the cabin the super SUVs benefit from Smoke White Merino leather upholstery, Smoke White Alcantara headliner, contrast stitching, and piano black trim pieces.
