Virtual Tuning: Mercedes AMG GT Slammed on MAE Wheels

Independent designer Jon Sibal found himself a bit bored recently and so he decided to mess around with a Mercedes AMG GT. When you have design skills like Jon’s, even your ‘messing arounds’ turn out quite good, on the evidence of what he’s done to the AMG GT using a some MAE wheels.

The old school 3-piece MAE rims looks surprisingly good on the sleek and modern Mercedes AMG GT. The dished wheels fill out the fenders completely thanks some serious virtual slamming and give it an absolutely menacing look.

We wouldn’t recommend this treatment for a real AMG GT though, because the standard suspension on this car is too good to be messed with. At the front the car has the exact setup as the SLS super car with double wishbones and stuff, and at the back it benefits from a completely bespoke system which makes it precise when you want it to be and lairy when you don’t.

As a reminder, Mercedes AMG GT is powered by a 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8 engine which generates 476 hp in normal and 510 hp in the hotted-up S guise.
