A drunk driver in a Mercedes G55 AMG in Quanzhou, China, caused quite a mayhem last thursday when he crashed into no less than six cars. It was a Grand Theft Auto-style rampage the man caused, complete with him fleeing the scene and being still at large.

The massive German SUV first crashed into a Volkswagen Santana taxi and went up the sidewalk, taking out some bushes in the process. This being a G-Wagen, the driver simply reversed back to the street and tried to escape when he hit a small red car, according to the witnesses.

Obviously, that incident could do nothing to hinder the G55’s progress. So the man stepped on it once again, this time heading into a one-way street. There he slammed into three cars in what appeared like a suicide attempt. The driver of one of the cars that were hit there had to be hospitalized for her injuries, but amazingly the drunk bastard walked out unscathed and managed to escape on foot, all thanks to the mighty Mercedes G55 AMG.

This incident, sad though it is, will serve as a proof of the G-Wagen’s astonishing toughness. It could also make a case for banning these cars from city centers. I mean, you can flatten-out a small hatchback in the G and not even notice!
