Only a few days after the new Mercedes GLE Coupe SUV was unveiled, it was confirmed that the car will be featured, rather heavily, in the new Jurassic Park Movie, The Lost World. This is the continuation of a tradition which began with the first JP movie back in 97 with the M-Class.
Now, a young talented designer with an affinity for apocalypse-ready cars with guns on them decided he doesn’t want to wait for Mercedes to reveal this beast. So he went ahead and created his own, virtual version. And it’s pretty sick!
Yasid has taken a normal Mercedes GLE and completely dinosaur-proofed it with massive iron bumpers, roll bars, window guards all around the car, spot lights, as well as a special camp paint job which fools the predators. Last but not least, the Jurassic Park Mercedes GLE features what appears to be a remote controlled .50 Cal machine gun on the roof.
These are the main highlights of the fanciful Jurassic Park Mercedes GLE. The real-world version is actually quite prissy, boasting delicate design features and a range of efficient engines. Only the GLE 63 AMG version is somewhat butch, but nowhere near enough to take on dinosaurs and stuff!
