Ask anyone, and they will tell you that, four years after its launch, the Range Rover Evoque still looks daisy fresh. Nevertheless, the company decided it is time for a refreshment and announced they will unveil the 2016 model year Range Rover Evoque Facelift at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
This dark teaser photo is all we have of the 2016 Range Rover Evoque Facelift for now, but the official bumf LR has released mentions “striking new headlights” as the main highlight of the new model. The signature LED lights look very similar to what the big Range Rover and also the Sport have.
But it’s not just the cool looks that set these headlights apart from an ordinary unit. The LED headlamps of the new Evoque, in Range Rover’s own word, features “powerful technology provides superior illumination in dark conditions, following the curves of the road, and is identifiable by the distinctive headlamp graphic.” 2016 Range Rover Evoque Facelift also comes with a new engine lineup, new safety and convenience features, and interior enhancements. So quite a lot to look forward to.
Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Design Director and Chief Creative Officer, said: “Our challenge has been to enhance Evoque without diluting its iconic design. The design refreshments give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotional appeal that has made it so popular with more than 400,000 consumers around the world.”
