Some of you may remember the Carlsson C25, a custom car built by the prestigious tuner of Mercedes-Benz models based on the old SL-Class R230. That car, known as the Super GT, made a lot of noise when it was first introduced, and it intents to do it again with its final, swan song edition.

The Carlsson C25 Super GT Final Edition will be introduced at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show where they will also be taking order for 25 units. Back when the C25 was new, and it was based on a car still in production, sales weren’t what you call satisfactory. So it must be even tougher now to shift a hugely expensive, and let’s be honest not very good-looking car, based on an obsolete model.

Still, some people may find Carlsson C25 Super GT’s blend of unique exterior design, lavish interior, and big power quite tempting. The car boasts a full carbon body that is 125 kg lighter than the standard SL and can be had with either a 450-hp V8 or a 750-hp V12 engine. The design of the car also appears to be somewhat updated and looks even more aggressive now.

One would consider China as a market where they can sell many C25s, but there is a problem with the hypothesis. Carlsson has announced they will make only one C25 per country!
