As you may know from our previous reports, Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg is going to unveil a new megacar at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Called Koenigsegg Regera, the new hypercar is most likely an updated version of the One:1.

This mysterious and weird looking Koenigsegg you see in the pictures here is believed to be the first working prototype of the Regera, out testing before being shipped to Switzerland for the show. The car is well camouflaged so it doesn’t betray any of the car’s intimate details, but the resemblance to the One:1 is uncanny.

And that’s why all we said above might be complete rubbish! For all we know, this could be one of the six customer Koenigsegg One:1s, wrapped in protective film. That said, the wheels and the unusual ride height of this car are telltale signs of a test car.
