The aging Nissan 370Z sports car really is on its las legs, but the Japanese company is not yet ready to let it go. In fact, they have just expanded its range by launching the Nissan 370Z NISMO Roadster at the Chicago Auto Show, soon to be produced alongside the Coupe version.
As for the specs and details, Nissan 370Z NISMO Roadster is exactly what it says on the tin, which is an open-top version of the well-known NISMO 370Z Coupe. It does look more dramatic though, thanks mainly to the fact that it’s a roadster, and also the GT-R-inspired aero kit,
The car features deep front fascia with Hyper LED Daytime Running Lights, black headlight bezels, NISMO emblem and signature NISMO red stripe accents, as well as a carbon fiber rear spoiler. The 19-inch NISMO super-lightweight wheels by RAYS also play a major part in giving the NISMO Roadster its striking look.
As with the Coupe, power in the Nissan 370Z NISMO Roadster comes from a 350-horsepower 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with 276 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with Downshift Rev Matching. The sports car also boasts 4-wheel independent suspension, large sports brakes, and a Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VLSD).
