It was Russia’s brutal winter that stymied the Wehrmacht’s advance toward Moscow in WWII and jumpstarted the decline and eventual defeat of the Third Reich. Now that same winter serves as a tremendous marketing opportunity for a German company in the Porsche Winter Festival 2015.
The video below highlights some of the most interesting features of Porsche Winter Festival. We are particularly drawn to that whack-a-mole made of ice:
In total, 135 tons of ice was used to create this giant temporary amusement park for the Porsche Winter Festival on Moscow Raceway Track. Porsche customers and their families were treated with great hospitality and enjoyed various activities, from car shows, to ice skating, ice sculpting, grown-up chatter over fine drinks, and of course, that ice whack-a-mole!
The biggest highlight of the event was the ice driving on a specially carved track on which 1734 test drives were served in four-wheel-drive cars such as the 991 Targa, 911 Turbo, Cayenne and the Panamera.
