AMG fans know that their favorite company has a huge obsession with high-end Italian bikes. That’s why they bought Ducati and acquired some shares in MV Agusta. We always wondered what would they do with these brands, and now we have found the answer.
Turns out the best use AMG could think of for their MV Agusta contact was to ask the Italians to design a cool livery for one of the Mercedes-AMG C63 race car that will compete in the 2015 DTM series. They have done a wonderful job, as you would expect, and created an awesome design for the race car.
The lucky driver who will get to drive around in this baby is DTM rookie Maximilian Götz who will be seeing a proud MV Agusta logo on the bonnet of his car as he fights Audi RS5s, BMW M4s, and other Mercedes C63s for the lead during the new DTM season. The logo also appears on the car’s roof, diverting attention from the superb racing aero kit on the C63 DTM.
Meanwhile, Mercedes’ DTM nemesis Audi has made deals with Red Bull, Castrol EDGE and Aral Ultimate who wanted their brands to be represented by the handsome RS5. So if the racing itself proved boring, you can always enjoy looking at these colorful race cars!
