It may not look like it, but Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series is one of the most legendary cars the German automaker has ever produced. The fact that Jeremy Clarkson has been daily driving one of this for the past six or seven years should tell you all you need to know. Now they guys at Mcchip-DKR has come up with a mild tweak for the Black to improve its already brilliant driving experience.

How do you make a car already so amazing even better? That’s easy, just add more power! Nobody has ever complaint about having too much power. Granted, it may not be entirely healthy, but boy is it good fun. So in this treatment the boys of DKR fiddled with the electronics in the 6.2 liter AMG V8 and added 49 PS and 38 Nm to its total output.

The reason Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series is a legend is partly due to the fact that it has a deliciously loose back end, and the reason for that, again, partly, is because of the firepower provided by the awesome 6.2 liter AMG V8. This beast of an engine comes with 507 PS and 630 from the factory. After getting the Mcchip treatment it gives almost 560 hp, and that means a bit more tail happiness and a lot more fun.
