Maserati Levante SUV Revealed in Leaked Patents

Maserati Levante leak 0 600x415 at Maserati Levante SUV Revealed in Leaked Patents

As usual, loose security at the patent offices result in a major leak and our first glance at the all-new Maserati Levante SUV. Granted, these drawings do not showcase the whole thing, but they are revealing enough for you to decide whether you like the Maser SUV or not right now.

The production Maserati Levante does not seem to be sharing many styling features with the 2011 Kubang Concept, Maserati’s first attempt at creating a sport utility vehicle. It’s not surprising really, seeing as the Kubang was an utter failure; so much so they even changed the name.

Maserati these days has a distinctive corporate look that is featured on all of their production models and the Levante is no exception. The car features the classic Maserati grille and Ghibli-like head lights, along with wide hips and familiar looking tail lights. It is a good look, all in all, certainly good enough to take on the likes of Porsche Cayenne and Mercedes GLE.

To be launched next year, Maserati Levante will be available with V6 and V8 powertrains, including possibly some diesel options.
