It is the “open air” season in Europe, meaning the weather is perfect this time of year for alfresco motoring. Ready for the occasion, mbDESIGN reveal their mildly tweaked BMW M4 Convertible featuring an upgraded chassis designed to improve the driving experience of the Bimmer.

Now, some of you may argue that the standard M4 wheels are far better looking than what mbD has bolted on this car, and we might agree with you. But the mbDESIGN VENTi-R rims they have used here have a special design, a cool paint finish, and they are paired with H&R suspension components. So it’s not all about the looks.

The wheels on mbDESIGN BMW M4 Convertible measure 9×21-inch on the front and 11×21 inch on the rear axle, shod with Continental Sport Contact tires in sizes 255/30R21 and 295/25R21 respectively. Meanwhile the H&R suspension system the tuner has installed lowers the ride height of the M4 by as much as 30mm.

The combination of 21-inch wheels and 30mm lowered suspension not only gives the car a more aggressive look, it also improves its road holding and cornering capabilities. This way you can use all of the M4’s 430 horses with confidence, knowing that your car is now harder to crash.
