We have already shown you a sneak preview of the Domanig Mercedes AMG GT when it was first showcased at the Tuning World Bodensee. Now the German tuner has released new details and images, revealing a fairly thorough upgrade program for the sports car.
Domanig Mercedes AMG GT is based on the GT S Edition 1 version which comes with a carbon fiber aero kit installed at the factory. Nevertheless, Domanig adds their own touches to the exterior, the main highlights of which include LED lights, lowered suspension, and a set of D-Ultralight five twin spoke in sizes 10.5×20-inch up front and 12×21-inch out back, wrapped with 265/30R20 and 305/25ZR21 Michelin SuperSport tires respectively. The KW suspension system, which results in 30mm lowering on both axles, also features a HLS 2 Lift system.
Being an ’S’ model means Domanig Mercedes AMG GT came into the tuner’s workshop with a 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8 engine developing 510 horsepower. The engine is the same, but Domanig have been fiddling with the software and exhaust system on it and they have managed to extract an extra 110 PS out of it. That means you now get a total of 620 horsepower and 720 Nm of peak torque, which on the road translates into a top speed of 332 km/h. Take that, Porsche 911 Turbo!
