Americans have changed a great deal since the early days of the 20th century when they started to slowly take over the world. But one thing that will never ever change about them is their profound love of pickup trucks. And that’s why car maker keep’em coming year after with refreshed styling and upgraded equipment. Meet GM’s latest offering in this segment, the 2016 GMC Sierra.

That styling of the new 2016 GMC Sierra is as familiar to GM fans as it is alien. There has been a good amount of revision and facelifting going on, resulting a bold look that is different enough from the previous model to be refreshing, but traditional enough not to scare off the traditional customer base.

Among the highlights of the handsome new truck we can mention LED “C-shaped” signature daytime running lights and LED headlights; new front fascia and grilles for each trim level; new LED fog lamps; new bumpers; and new “C-shaped” LED taillights. Inside the cabin, as with most new GM products, you can expect the excellent Apple CarPlay infotainment system, because everybody uses an iPhone, right?

To be in the fourth quarter of this year, 2016 GMC Sierra will most likely use the same exact pwoertrains as the existing model, including a 5.3-liter, 355 horsepower V8 and a 3.4 liter, 280 horsepower V6.
