Following their Geneva Motor Show onslaught which focused solely on British cars, German tuner Startech is back at it, this time making a celebratory version of the old Landie Defender they call the SIXTY8. As the name suggests, this Startech Land Rover Defender celebrates the off-roader’s 68-year production run. Wanna guess how many they are making?

Trying to represent a quintessentially British look, Startech Land Rover Defender SIXTY8 comes with a two-tone paint job with Corris Grey Metallic for the body and Santorini Black roof. The SUV also gets Startech Monostar D 18 inch alloys and tinted panoramic glazing for all rear windows, plus custom grille and bumpers and an aluminum underride guard with SIXTY8 logo.

Startech has done a brilliant job with the interior on the SIXTY8, wrapping most of the cabin in plush in Tan Light Brown and Ebony Black leather. The seats feature diamond quilting while the center console is adorned with an ALPINE multimedia system with 3D navigation and backup camera.

The limited edition Startech Land Rover Defender SIXTY8 is priced at EUR 67,990 for the five-seater and EUR 69,900 for the seven-seater. Those are steep prices, especially as the car only has a 120 hp 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine. That said, it is one of the most unique takes on the Defender we’ve ever seen.
