German tuner Manhart has already come up with a rendering showing what their upgrade package for the new 2016 BMW 7 Series would look like. Called MH7 700, Manhart BMW 7 Series is the BMW M7 we will never get.
This, of course, is just a rendering. So details are virtually non-existent on what sort of specs Manhart BMW 7 Series would be rocking. That is, if they ever get around making the car. Visually, this car seems to be a hit. And that’s sounds like enough of a reason for Manhart to go ahead and make this kit.
What Manhart is proposing for the new 7 Series include a revised M Sport bumper with a spoiler lip and gloss black or carbon fiber grille inserts, blacked-out kidney grilles, side skirts, and, presumably, rear diffuser and rear wing. The car also gets carbon mirror caps, side stripes, lowered ride height, and a set of Manhart’s finest wheels in matte black.
In terms of performance, as mentioned, nothing is known for the moment. We can only hope the name MH7 700 is a hint at the kind of horsepower Manhart BMW 7 Series will be getting. The new 7er comes with a potent V8 engine that has a lot of room for improvement. Manhart better hustle, or the boys at Alpina may beat them to it.
