We continue with our coverage of the products of the new British tuner ARES, founded by former Lotus boss Dany Bahar, this time featuring their take on the Lamborghini’s baby bull. ARES Performance Lamborghini Huracan comes a proper visual makeover that is more of a face-lift than a case of “kitting it out”.

ARES came up with some many fantastic plans for so many high-end exotic cars all at same time, one gets the idea Bahar has been plotting all this for years. Then again, that is his style. He overwhelms you with awesome ideas and plans. Whether or not he can actually deliver on these promises will remain to be seen.

At any rate, ARES Performance Lamborghini Huracan comes with a very unique but not so pretty styling kit consisting of custom bumpers, side skirts and aero parts. The design of the bumpers is particularly interesting, with aggressive air intakes at the front and mean-looking diffuser and tailpipes at the back. The kit is complemented with a set of custom designed 20 inch front and 21 inch rear wheels.

ARES does not seem to have a solid plan for upgrading the performance of the Huracan – they just mention in passing an ECU upgrade to 650 hp – but the interior treatment they have come up with is more than make up for that. You get Nubuk and Nappa leather coated dash board, sports steering wheel and racing section seats, all wrapped in a unique blend of leather and carbon. It looks really, really good.
