German tuner of British marques, Arden, has released a preview of their upcoming upgrade program for the range-topping SVR version of the Range Rover Sport. Visual mods aren’t that deep, but Arden Range Rover Sport SVR is getting a serious power boost.
That sounds like overkill, since the standard SVR comes with a supercharged V8 engine developing 550 horsepower. Arden Range Rover Sport SVR gets a 55 horsepower boost thanks to a modified engine management system for a total of 605. That means this luxury off-roader becomes as powerful as a Ferrari 458 Speciale, only the Range Rover has more torque!
Arden also promises to enhance the car’s responsiveness and overall driving pleasure, but they are not as yet proposing much in the way of a styling kit. The car showcased in the preview pictures features a new set of Arden wheels and some mesh grille in the bumpers, but that’s about it. Hopefully by the time it is ready to be launched they have done more work on the exterior.
