The official debut of the 2016 Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe is only a few days away. But since Mercedes-Benz has already revealed the standard C-Class Coupe, designer X-Tomi decided to go ahead and pen the AMG version, just to give us something to munch on while waiting for the real thing to arrive.

There has been numerous teasers for the new Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe, or Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe as they call it, so we have a fairly good idea of what it looks like. You get the typical AMG sports bumper at the front with the signature AMG frown and large air intakes. At the back, however, the C63 Coupe might introduce a whole new look. In all the teasers the rear-end was heavily camouflaged, hiding a pretty sizable rear wing. So that’s something to look forward to.

In terms of performance, the new Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe will almost certainly get a version of the existing 4.0 liter biturbo V8 first introduced in the AMG GT with the same sort of power output, i.e. 500something horsepower. That said, the normal C300 model comes with a pretty good V6 engine which could, in the near future, evolve a couple of turbochargers and replace the V8 in AMG’s range. We’ll see what happens.
