Vossen Wheels has done up a new Ferrari 458 Italia which is, evidently, gunning for the title of most uniquely colored car in the world. Boasting a one-of-a-kind matt emerald green wrap, Vossen Ferrari 458 comes with a set of Burnt Copper Pearl wheels.

Although pairing green with copper might seem questionable, there is no denying that what results is a proper eye candy. What’s particularly interesting about this car is the process its wheel underwent to get that Burnt Copper Pearl finish. It’s a new method from DipYourCar and apparently it’s the next best thing after wrapping.

The VPs-308 wheels on this Vossen Ferrari 458, originally matte black, are painted using this method. It is so fast and easy to apply, you don’t even need to take the tires off the rims. You don’t even need a paint booth. Just cover the rubber with some tape, mix the Dip with solvent in a paint hun, and you are ready to go. As for how durable this treatment is, that remains to be seen.

The result, as you can see in these pictures, is pretty good. It looks like any professional paint job you can think of.
