In their latest tuning project German firm G-Power has upgraded a super diesel version of the latest BMW X6. It consists of a power module that gives G-Power BMW X6 M50d an extra 74 hp and 130 Nm of torque, which is a modest upgrade by G-Power’s standard.

The power kit for G-Power BMW X6 M50d comes in two G-POWER D-Tronik 5 V1 power module and D-Tronik 2 V1 ECU remap versions, each of which boosts the output of the diesel engine to 455 hp (335 kW) and 870 Nm of torque. The system remains inactive under partial load to help with the fuel economy. G-Power hasn’t tested the performance yet, but they say the top speed is “in accordance” with the extra oomph.

Visually, G-Power BMW X6 M50d only gets a set of ultra-light HURRICANE RR forged alloy wheels. These are sized 11.0×23-inch and shod with 305/25 ZR23 high performance tires. Available in Jet Black”, “Gun Metal Grey” and “Stardust Silver” and featuring diamond cut finish, the wheels have enough visual impact for this X6 not to need any further modifications. But the tuner throws in a little extra something in form of an orange engine cover!
