One of the stars of this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA), at least among the tuner cars, was Brabus Maybach 900. Though it looks like a normal S-Class on the surface, whichever way you cut this car it is the ultimate luxury saloon, quite possibly ever.

Brabus Maybach 900 Rocket is powered by the firm’s 900 horsepower V12 engine and it has all the luxury and comfort of a Maybach. That is quite a recipe. But to truly understand what this beast is all about, you need to get up close and personal with it, something you can now manage thanks to Shmee150 and his in-depth look at the car:

So to quickly recap, Brabus Maybach 900 packs 900 horsepower and 1,500 Nm of torque; it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.7 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 350 km/h; it features 21-inch BRABUS Monoblock VI evo and Monoblock R “PLATINUM EDITION wheels; MAGIC BODY CONTROL suspension with 25mm lowering; a subtle aero kit; and BRABUS “iBusiness” system with every connectivity and entertainment feature you can imagine. And the cost of all this goodness? Just over half a million Euros!
