Virtual Tuning: Liberty Walk BMW i8

Liberty Walk BMW i8 600x325 at Virtual Tuning: Liberty Walk BMW i8

The guys at Prisk Design have been quite busy lately, releasing some pretty interesting renderings in which they apply extreme modifications to famous super and sports cars. Their latest effort is a virtual tuning job, a speculative Liberty Walk BMW i8.

Most of you are familiar with Liberty Walk body kit. They are only the world’s most famous tuner when it comes to wide body kits, and they have a style all their own, signified by extreme fender extensions, slammed suspension, and ultra large wheels. Prisk’s Liberty Walk BMW i8 does get some of those features, but does away with the rest.

So while you see the LB touch on the rear fender, the front wings on this Liberty Walk BMW i8 appear to be just flared slightly, which is not what the real tuner would do. What’s more, the exposed bolt apparatus which is another signature dish of LB-Works is not present here. The car has been lowered though, and there is a new aero kit with a very cool duck tail spoiler.

It is only a matter of time before we see a real Liberty Walk BMW i8 body kit. They started out tuning Nissan GTRs, but these days the business has expanded so much for LB, they are working on the likes of Audi R8.
