Such is the interest in the new BMW M2 that only a few days after its debut we have already seen it turned, virtually, into a cabriolet and fitted with all sorts of body kits and stuff. But among them all, this BMW M2 Wide Body by Bengala design is our favorite so far.

Granted, we have a soft spot for all wide body cars, but this treatment looks especially fine on the M2 since it’s a small and compact sports car and looks extra naughty with those wide fenders. The car comes out of the factory already boasting flared arches to accommodate those large M wheels. What Bengala does is kind of turn that up to eleven, give it an extra edge.

Of course, such modifications are never complete without a set of ultra massive wheels and tires and an air suspension system to slam it right to the ground, and BMW M2 Wide Body is no exception. The car looks mean and cool after these mods, but you have to accept the fact that they will invariably ruin the precise handling of the car and compromise it’s performance. Before you send your car to the chopping block, you have to decide whether those cool looks are that important to you.
