Like it or not, BMW M2 is ruling the headlines these days and it is going to continue to do so for the foreseeable future. You have probably heard a lot about this car already, but even if you haven’t, this new promo released by BMW UK will summarize all you need to know about the M2 in the most awesome way possible.

Filmed at the picturesque Anglesey Circuit, this clip is the best advertisement they could have possibly made for the BMW M2. That said, it seems to us they have sped up the footage in some of the scenes to make it look more dramatic.    

And just to recap once more, BMW M2 is powered by a turbocharged three-litre six-cylinder in-line engine developing 370 horsepower and 465 Nm (343 lb-ft) of torque which can be increased to as much as 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) in short bursts under overboost. Standard gearbox is a six-speed manual, but you can order a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission (M DCT) with Launch Control which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.3 seconds. Some people have criticized the M2 for looking too like the M235i, while some other have praised its design for being rather understated, at least compared to the M4.
