The four-year old German tuning firm BBM, which was created by merging two other tuners, has now come up with a car with three turbos! The unique BBM Motorsport BMW 350D 3T is created by forcefully wedging a BMW M50d engine under the bonnet of a 3 Series.
The base for this car is an E91BMW 330d Wagon which the tuner has renamed after the engine transplant. Not only BBM Motorsport BMW 350D 3T gets the M50d engine, they have gone ahead and tune it as well. So instead of the standard 380 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, it now develops 440 hp and 850 Nm of torque. This thing is now one of the fastest diesel wagons in the world with a 0 to 100 time of 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 296 km/h.
Other highlights of BBM Motorsport BMW 350D 3T include a limited-slip differential, a set of Z-Performance ZP10 wheels in 8.5×19 with Michelin Pilot Sport 225/35-19 tires on front and 9.5×19 with 255/30-19 rubber on rear axle, KW Clubsport variant coilovers with adjustable struts, Stoptech braking system, sport exhaust system with active noise control, and a full wrap in metallic blue by SFT Carwrap. Interior goodies, meanwhile, include BMW Performance steering wheel with Alcantara and gear shift paddles, Recaro seats (Sportster CS) and the original BMW M3 E92 speedometer.
