Maseratis are not the kind of cars you can take too much liberties with. If you do that, more often than not you end up ruining the whole thing. The owner of this one, however, seems to have gotten away with it in his quest to create a Champagne Maserati Quattroporte.
This QP was originally grey, a color that the owner evidently found a bit too dull and wearisome after a while. So he sent his high-end Italian super saloon to Impressive Wrap in Hong Kong, where they came up with this rather lovely gloss metallic champagne wrap for the car. It is not the sort of color you would usually associate with a Maser – since it is somewhere between bronze and gold and therefore fairly ostentatious – but when it works, it works.
If anything, this Champagne Maserati Quattroporte has now been set further apart from the cheaper, less classy Ghibli. These cars have fairly identical looks and a lot of people have a hard time telling them apart. With this wrap at least the Quattroporte gets a distinctly luxurious look that is way above the pay grade of a Ghibli owner. So that’s another reason why you should forgive the sheer shininess of the thing.
