Abarth announced the launch of a new limited edition version of the 695 Biposto for the global market. This is not one of those phony “Limited Editions that are only limited to the number they can sell. Only 133 copies of the Abarth 695 Biposto Record will be available worldwide.

That makes this little beast here rather special. But that would be meaning less if Abarth 695 Biposto Record didn’t get some sort of X factor that set it apart from the model that went before. So it features an exclusive ‘Modena Yellow’ paint job with ‘Tar Cold Grey’ trims, ‘695 Record’ badge on the side and an aluminium bonnet. You won’t mistake this bad boy for an ordinary 500.

Other highlights of the Abarth 695 Biposto Record the fans will go crazy for include 18-inch OZ alloy wheels, large Brembo brakes, Akrapovic exhaust, special instrument panel animation, Sabelt carbon shell seats, four point seatbelts, a cargo net and a unique numbered plate, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the day when Carl Abarth broke a new acceleration record in a Class G car at the Monza race track.

The Biposto Record is powered by Abarth’s 190hp 1.4 Turbo T-Jet 16-valve engine. It propels the 997 kg car from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 143 mph. In the UK the car is priced at £36,610.
