BMW specialists at Alpha-N have come up with a nice and round power upgrade kit for the 435d and 435i models, boosting the performance and enhancing the driving experience of the car. Alpha-N Performance BMW 4 Series kits can be fitted to both and convertible models with the TwinPower straight-six engine.
The meat of Alpha-N Performance BMW 4 Series upgrade package is a plug and play power box known as EVOX Chiptuning Box. It consists new codes and software modules that boost the performance of both diesel and petrol units, unlocking a new level of performance without having a negative effect on emissions and fuel consumption.
For the 435i petrol engine, the EVOX ups the power output from the standard 306 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque to 367 horsepower with 520 Nm. In the case of the diesel engine those figures are 313 to 374 horsepower and 630 to 740 Nm of torque. For optimum performance, and peace of mind, Alpha-N Performance BMW 4 Series should also be fitted with a larger intercooler. So although the chip tuning costs a mere 699 EUR, you are going to have shell out an extra 690 EUR for that.
Alpha-N also recommends a chassis upgrade for the 4er, consisting of Öhlins coilover suspension system and a set of O.Z. Racing Superturismo in size 8,5×19 inch with 235/35R19 tires up front and 255/30R19 out back.
